探花合集 is seeking a skilled Project Engineer (Electrical) to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Waterford, Ireland. This is a 12-month contract role requiring full onsite presence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical and instrumentation engineering within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all elements of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, scope, safety, and quality standards.
  • Lead design management processes, ensuring compliance with user requirements and project scope.
  • Attend project and design meetings, documenting outcomes and ensuring timely action closure.
  • Maintain project governance, reporting documentation, and milestone tracking.
  • Oversee contractor performance to ensure compliance with quality, schedule, and safety expectations
  • Support tendering processes and coordinate document submissions.
  • Act as the Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with Irish regulations and site standards.
  • Review and approve design documents, specifications, and vendor documentation.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Maintenance teams to align projects with site electrical infrastructure strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, identifying and addressing delays proactively.
  • Control scope and cost changes, ensuring alignment with budget and schedule requirements.
  • Ensure all works are planned and executed safely under established safety systems.
  • Maintain compliance with site GMP and Change Control processes, ensuring proper documentation control.
  • Monitor resource allocation and escalate constraints as needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Technical expertise in electrical systems within large-scale manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards, safety systems, and Irish regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate contractors effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in engineering project delivery, construction, or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with GMP or other highly regulated environments is desirable
  • Candidates must have the correct right to work in Ireland.
