Principal Electrical Engineer - Permanent - Greater Boston

̽»¨ºÏ¼¯ is working with an innovative technology company to recruit for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team. This is a senior, hands-on position that combines technical leadership with the opportunity to mentor and guide a small team of engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of advanced electronic and embedded systems, working across the full product development lifecycle from concept through delivery.

Skills & Requirements:

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Strong background in embedded systems and electronics design
• PCB design experience, preferably using Altium
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded hardware platforms
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience working within structured engineering and documentation processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and external partners

The Principal Electrical Engineer's responsibilities will be:

• Design and develop embedded electronic systems
• Create hardware schematics and support PCB design activities
• Define system and hardware architectures for new products
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Lead technical projects from concept to delivery
• Conduct design reviews, testing, and validation activities
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Support customer-facing technical discussions when required
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Contribute to engineering best practices and process improvement

Compensation:

• $150,000 to $170,000 per annum.
