探花合集 is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to oversee daily operations in our apothecary.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will ensure the smooth, efficient functioning of the pharmacy while providing exemplary customer service and patient care. The role involves supervising pharmacy staff, managing patient care programs, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations.
Skills & Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
- Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
The Pharmacist's responsibilities will be:
- Prescription Dispensing and Patient Care: Oversee all aspects of prescription dispensing operations, ensuring proper technique and accuracy in preparation. Provide pharmaceutical care by assessing patient needs, developing therapeutic care plans, and educating patients on medication use and potential interactions. Conduct patient counseling on prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and nutritional supplements.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure adherence to all laws, rules, and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy, with a particular focus on controlled substances. Participate in compliance audits to maintain high standards in storage, record-keeping, and operational practices.
- Inventory and Cost Management: Maintain and monitor inventory to maximize profitability while minimizing waste. Collaborate with the team to develop systems that minimize cost and improve operational efficiency.
- Patient and Public Engagement: Lead immunization programs, including Covid-19, influenza, and other recommended vaccines. Serve as a our ambassador, representing our services and products in community meetings and to healthcare providers.
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide ongoing training and mentorship to pharmacy staff, focusing on safe medication handling, customer service excellence, and updates on new drug therapies. Organize and facilitate team meetings, ensuring alignment with pharmacy goals and compliance standards.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Implement and oversee quality checks, actively seeking opportunities to enhance process efficiency and minimize errors. Gather and respond to patient feedback to drive service improvements.
- Data Management and Reporting: Work closely with the accounting team to analyze prescription trends, manage inventory turnover, and make data-driven decisions to optimize pharmacy operations.
- Emergency Preparedness: Establish and periodically review emergency protocols for medication shortages, crisis dispensing, and staffing contingencies.
