Manufacturing Associate - Contract - Rockville, MD

̽»¨ºÏ¼¯ is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our client's team for a contract role.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will focus on supporting cell culture and purification operations through various tasks such as preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of media and solutions. You will work under some supervisory guidance to ensure smooth operation and compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Skills & Requirements:

• Familiarity with ERP processes and the GSK Production System.
• Ability to manage and use automation and digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
• Capability to work shifts covering a 24/7 production operation.
• Physical ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
• Strong teamwork skills.

The Manufacturing Associate's responsibilities will be:

• Prepare, clean, sterilize, batch, pasteurize, filter, and deliver media and solutions for cell culture and purification.
• Set up, operate, clean, and break down process equipment.
• Perform sampling procedures and operate filter integrity devices.
• Monitor and trend process operations, equipment, and instruments.
• Set up processing equipment and parts for cleaning and sterilization.
• Follow SOPs, protocols, and batch records/logbooks for safe operations.
• Adhere to safety policies and actively identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Communicate effectively in various situations.
