Expression Scientist - Contract - Collegeville, PA

Deliver high‑quality recombinant proteins that power early‑stage molecular discovery.

̽��ϼ� is seeking an Expression Scientist to join a dynamic team focused on recombinant protein expression and purification. The position requires expertise in mammalian and insect cell systems, with additional experience in E. coli protein expression and purification, considered a plus. Competency in sterile cell culture techniques is essential, and strong organizational and communication skills are highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will support early discovery efforts by delivering high-quality protein reagents for molecular discovery campaigns and structural studies.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in biochemistry or a related field.
Prior experience with mammalian and/or insect cell culture and sterile techniques.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform background research to understand assigned tasks.
Beneficial but not required: experience with E. coli expression and recombinant protein purification.

The Expression Scientist's responsibilities will be:

Perform recombinant protein expression using mammalian and insect cell systems.
Maintain sterile cell culture techniques to ensure quality and reproducibility.
Collaborate with the Protein Sciences team to deliver protein reagents for discovery campaigns.
Keep detailed records of experiments and results.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Manage tasks efficiently and complete assignments in a timely manner.
