探花合集 is seeking a Crimping Department Technician to join a dynamic team in the medical device manufacturing industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work on detailed production assembly tasks, operate and maintain equipment, and ensure quality standards are met. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or associate degree.
- Proficiency in English for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
- Familiarity with manufacturing instrumentation such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge blocks.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly with discrete assembly and robotics, is preferred.
- Knowledge of automated machines, tools, and production processes.
- Basic understanding of arithmetic, algebra, or geometry.
- Problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis techniques.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs as required.
The Crimp Technician's responsibilities will be:
- Set up, operate, and perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Monitor and maintain raw material feeds, clear stoppages, and address faults on automated equipment.
- Use human-machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct process control shifts.
- Prepare raw materials and ensure timely job execution to meet delivery schedules.
- Troubleshoot mechanical errors or safety issues using provided troubleshooting tools.
- Utilize computer systems for material inventory and quality management processes.
- Support new product design transfers, process development, and equipment/process validations.
- Use measuring tools to ensure correct tolerances and product specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures for material handling, record-keeping, packaging, and shipment preparation.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- $18 to $21 per hour.
