Accountant/Financial Analyst - Permanent - Philadelphia, PA

̽��ϼ� is seeking an Accountant/Financial Analyst for an academic organization. This permanent position is located in Philadelphia, PA.

Primary Responsibilities:

The role involves providing financial, administrative, and functional support to the department, including analyzing and monitoring expenditures, and reconciling funds to ensure alignment with projections.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

The Financial Analyst will:

Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare and/or analyze financial reports, budgets, and revenue projections.
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, monitor budget, and reallocate funds as necessary.
Process all transactions related to the office's financial activities, including purchasing, payables, and reimbursement.
Design and maintain spreadsheets and databases for tracking and compliance with university and outside requirements/policies.
Process all purchasing requests and maintain all purchasing related tracking and record keeping.
Serve as liaison with business/financial administrators and other departments.
Produce monthly summary reports for endowments and special purpose accounts.
Assist with preparation of fiscal year-end projections and future fiscal year proposals.
Exercise resource stewardship to ensure compliance with related policies and procedures.
